Alexa control accesses servers fine but only plays on Echo devices

So I have installed the Alexa skill on my devices (Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 5), enabled skill fine, everything is linked and accessible. Alexa finds the 3 servers I have with absolutely no issue and will switch between them with no issues. Alexa finds any player device I have fine also (Roku TCL TV, iPad, iPhone) and will respond confirming player has been switched to whatever device I pick.

But… regardless of where I tell Alexa to play music or anything else it will only ever play back on the Echo Show device the order was given to. Surely this isn’t the intent?

I’ve tried 3 times already with enabling/disabling to recheck my installation but seem to be stuck that it doesn’t act like a remote control but instead seems to have merely added itself as a player which isn’t what I understood this “skill” to be. What am I missing?

Oh well guess Plex doesn’t support Alexa no more.
