I’m not sure if it’s Amazon’s API/developers that are refusing this, or on the Plex end, but the inability to play through Multiroom is the reason I am still using spotify for my music. Disappointing as I have a lifetime Plex pass.
When you prompt Alexa to play music from PLEX, you need to configure which additional Alexa devices that will also play the same music stream in addition to the device you issue your prompt from. Go to your Alexa App and configure your device to add other Alexa devices that you want to play at the same time. If you want each of the other Alexa devices to act with this same behavior (playing multiroom music from PLEX ), you need to configure each device in the same way.
