Hi, for some time have been running a Synology NAS with Plex and streaming music well through my various Alexa devices. However since the PlexMediaServer 1.30.2.6563 update last week I seem to have hit problems.
When asking Alexa to play through Plex it either:
- Vocally responds that it will play as requested then no music happens.
- Vocally responds that it will play as requested and names the NAS it will be playing from then nothing plays.
- Advises that it cannot connect to the NAS and to open the alexa app to allow remote access.
I have restarted all devices and the NAS involved. Even tried to unable Plex from the amazon devices using the amazon app and re-enabling again but this has not helped.
I’m not sure if this is an Alexa issue or an issue with most recent update.
Has anyone come had the same thing happen ? or can any help figure a solution? as I have some cranky kids around the house at the moment.
