All availabnle channels will not tune since moving to Linux

I recently moved from a Windows 10 server to a Linux Mint 20.2 server. Since the move I am unable to scan all the available channels in my area (Toronto) There are about 40 and the most I have been able to get are 15. Even more mystifying is the local Toronto Channels are all missing.

Any advice would be welcome.

First thing to check, can you see them all (tune in) on the Hauppauge app in Mint?
If no see the Hauppauge site/search the web for Linux and your tuner.

If yes then in Plex (http://<my.ip.address>:32400/web):
Settings->MANAGE->Live TV & DVR
In CHANNEL SOURCES click on ‘xx enabled’

Are they enabled?
Did you try a RESCAN?

Hey, thanks for the reply. I’m confused, is there a Hauppauge app for Mint? I am not aware of one.

I have deleted and reinstalled the hardware a number of times.

I have also rescanned and enabled numerous times from the server, from the web interface, and from my windows client. All return the results that I indicated above. I did follow all the instructions from the Hauppauge site for my model. Interestingly I was told by their support team that it was unnecessary because the current Linux kernel supports my tuner “out of the box”

I am beginning to think that the hardware is damaged although I can’t see how but…

You said you moved from Win to Linux were the expected channels showing up in Windows? If you plug your antenna into you TV do you get the channels?
