woke up this morning and 3/4ths my music library dissapeared and I had to do a scan library…it found them but not after it lost all metadata album art and descriptions of what album it is…so the question is can I get all that back or do I have to start over
I assume that your media storage is not inside the Plex server computer, right?

No it’s on a portable 2tb harddrive
That didn’t work I had the box checked
And I really dont understand the tutorial that you gave to me also
The idea is to have the box not checked.
Then you cannot go back to the previous state of your library, which had all the items still there.
