All Of A Sudden Plex Server on Nividia Shield is Missing Libraries

So last night, everything fine, watching tv and enjoying my various media libraries and Plex DVR capability.

This morning I get up and under Library only thing showing is News with a popup notification about this NEWs feature. I cant find my DVR, recorded movies or NAS or any of my libraries. All gone.

Trying to add libraries and am unable to do so. I couldnt add libraries or find my NAS

Seems like this is associated with that new News feature, so it apparently broke Plex on Nvidia Shield whatever Plex did and I apparently have lost recorded movies on my USB connected storage drive. My Plex on my Windows 10 machine is fine, this is only on Nvidia Shield Plex.

I made NO software updates or changes to my Nvidia, again this happened overnight.

I uninstalled and reinstalled plex and plex media server and am going to try and redo the whole installation but very frustrating.

Did Plex do anything on their end last night? Why would all of a sudden I get a News notification and then all this data and config and setups gone?

The News feature is not associated with a specific server, so you will always see that option, unless you disable it under your account settings. Did you check to see if your server was selected in the Server selection menu? It could be something changed on your network overnight so the client was trying to use cached data which didn’t match.

Edit - Plex did not do anything on our end that would have affected you totally losing your server. It especially would not have deleted files off your drive.

Libraries were there just not seen by Plex on Nvidia Shield. Also no live tv option.

I basically started over from scratch. And I did not enable that news feature
