All videos and audio are marked unavailable

Player Version#: all

All my videos and audio are now marked as unavailable. Thumbnails are present as is the detailed information. If I copy the filepath and go to a terminal on the NAS I can see the file exists. The permissions are 777. What do I try next?

Give user Plex permission to read the media shares ( as shown below ),
and everything will return to normal. The details of how and why it worked as it did are contained in the announcement.
