I have google fi because I travel a lot, and it allows me to have unlimited data worldwide.
I use my phone as a hotspot for my android tablet and stream from my plex library all the time, but it wont let me download for offline use. It says I should “connect to un-metered wifi to download”.
Clearly I’m not worried about encountering a data cap since I have unlimited, so this seems to be a case where the app constraining me to “what’s best for me” is detrimental.
Would be nice to have a toggle to turn this “feature” off.
