Allow Smart Collections with criteria that does not currently exist

I’d like to request a feature for Advanced Filters.

Advanced Filters are the base of Smart Collections.
So consider the following:
I want to create a Smart Collection for Éric Rohmer. He was active as director, author and also played a bunch of roles. Unfortunately I can only add rules for him, where movies with him in such role already exist.

For example, if there is no movie, yet, where Éric Rohmer contributed as an actor, I can not create a Smart Collection, which will later on also automatically show such movies. This kind of defeats the whole point of Smart Collections, doesn’t it?

All there would be needed is to allow me to enter a string into the search field, which does not get deleted, if no such name was found in DB.

I really hope, this can be added.

Thanks a lot. Unfortunately I can not vote for it, as I have invested all my tokens. And neither do I know, how to find out where I invested them, nor if it would be possible to regain them.
Thanks, much appreciated and hopefully it will get sufficient votes, anyway.

Next time I will make sure, to mark it as Feature Request myself.

By the way, combined with this other other problem, I posted this is even worse. Because even if there is a movie where somebody is acting in, one can not choose the actor for Advanced Filter, if the actor is not among the first few actors of a movie:
