I used Plex a long time ago never had an issue and now it seems scanning my library heaps of movies have no meta data. So if I select “match” on an individual movie and try do a search to match it for example “Alien vs Predator Requiem 2007” even changing the title in this search box to just “Alien” still fields zero results. What has happen to Plex since I have been gone?
Movies and TV have new faster scanners, the tradeoff is that the naming convention is more strict.
You can check against https://watch.plex.tv to see what Plex is looking for. (( Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem) There is also a way to add the TMDB id in hint the match.
