i added some movies and plex found the metadata right away, and now i just added 2 movies and plex did not find the movie’s meta data, even though i named it properly.
when i right click on the movie and choose match and i manually search for the movie, i get no match found.
Fix your naming.
( Year ) – Only the year is in ()[1080p] [h265] - Square brackets to hide optional confusing information from the scanner.Example:
Voyagers (2021) [2160p]/
War on Everyone (2016) [1080p]/
We Are Your Friends (2015) [1080p]/

I am trying to force a match when I right click on the movie and choose match, then I type in the movie name and click search, I just get a no match found.
May I see the DEBUG logs ZIP which captures this?

If you edit your library does the folder/directory point to /volume1/data/media/movies ? (Please post a screenshot)
Have you ever performed this ?
It fixes the limitation where DSM can’t tell Plex that new media is added (automatic detection)
