Amazon Fire Stick and TiVo Stream 4K will not play mp3 files

I am having an issue with Plex on Android devices.
In my case I have installed Plex from the Play store on my TiVo Stream 4K and I get ‘an error occurred while playing this item’ while trying to play from my Synology DS220j server. I downloaded the Plex app to an Amazon Fire Stick 4K and am receiving the same error.
The Plex app seems to recognize all the song titles on the albums. Everything is MP3.
Everything plays just fine on my iPad.
The only other variable that has changed is that I upgraded the Plex service to a lifetime subscription….

Please help.

I think the problem may be based on the Android interface to Synology. I can open the app on the iPad and attach it via Bluetooth on my receiver to play the tunes.
Hopefully the Synology support team is reviewing these posts.
The problem exists on the Fire Stick and the TiVo Stream 4K so it isolated….

I downloaded Plex on my Samsung TV. It is an older Plex client, from 2019, and works fine…
