Can't play any music on Plex for Android and Plex for Fire TV

I can’t play any music (both flac and mp3) on Plex Android or Plex on Amazon Fire TV. On my mobile music playback with PlexAmp work flawless. However this app is not available for the Fire TV. On PC it also works fine.
Movie playback also works fine on all devices. It’s just the music on android that troubles me.
I also tried reinstalling the app. my Settings: Maximum Quality

If I start playing a song or an album it says " An error occured while playing this item" and then skips to the next track and the cycle repeats.

I took a look into the log file but nothing stood out to me. I am happy to provide it. (preferable privately)

it works now.

After updating to the latest Plex version on my Fire TV the “old” video player disappeared and the new player never worked for me. Therefore It forced me to review my server settings and it seems there was some kind of certificate problem going on. Sadly Plex didn’t really tell me much about what’s going on besides the very generic error message.

Anyway by sheer luck I figured it out and now everything works flawless. I hope this can help somebody, since the support from Plex on this Forum doesn’t seem to be very strong.

I should mention that my Plex server is remote and that enabling “CDN” with my Plex server provider fixed it for me. (be aware it may take 24h to become active)
