To guys .
I realy hope some one can shed some light on what is going wrong. I have plex installed on a old computer running as my media server has been working fine up until the last update . Both my android and smart tv has booked on to it fine. Now they don’t the phone shows the server as disconnected and the tv just won’t find it I don’t know what else to do . I have read every thing I could find that may fix it but no joy . Short of unistalling it and starting again what can I do .
what version number of the server exactly do you have installed? ( please don’t say “the latest”) is it on windows/mac/etc
can you access it via the web browser ok?
Thanks . I have fixed it so what I did was so a master reset of my whole computer .wipe and start again loaded plex moveis and away we went . Now the version I had was the last update 1.4 or something that was rolled out about 2 weeks ago as it was working it did a update stoped working. Other than that I have know idea . Let’s hope it dose not happen again. I could log on to the browser on the media server/ computer all good just my tablet and phone could not or at least we it easily it was saying it could only work in indirect mode
