The Plex android app is absolutely awful again when trying to play any live tv via tuner hardware.
Definite regressions have happened on this app, and there are countless posts also notating issues with Live TV & DVR on Android and yet there are no major updates nor any confirmation that any of these issues are being tracked or fixed!
The live tv portion of the plex app was bad on the Fire Tv and even worse on Google Chromecast with Google Tv.
Channels sometimes fail to load and do not play even though the tuner is at full strength.
When it does work, I run into the issue where plex fails to play a different channel selected after a channel has already started playing.
The only way to fix this is force the app close or restart the device.
On top of this, the live tv & dvr on the plex client is now desyncing audio & video. This is clearly a plex client issue as any corresponding channel works without issue directly accessed via tuner IP address, and work mostly without issue on the desktop app.
