Android app gives "An Error occured while playing this item"

Am facing an issue while attempting to play music (MP3) from the plex app and android mobile. There is no issue for playing from apple devices or from Roku TV. The issue is specific to android mobile devices (tried 2 different devices and faced the same issue). The PLex server is hosted on Synology and this problem has started occuring after I upgraded the DSM to ver 7.0.

Since i am able to use Plex from other devices except Android, am suspecting some settings have to be tweaked on Plex server. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Same here. Works fine on PC and works on my Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro running android but fails to play on my Nvidia shield running Android TV. Messed with all of the settings I can find, nothing plays either .mp3 of .flac regardless of bitrate etc

My issue was resolved after I upgraded the Plex server to the latest version (post upgrade of DSM version)
