Android APP No Longer Starts to Play any Video After PMS Updated to 1.32.5.xxxx

Press play and Android APP Stucks at Loading UI forever, Won’t Start to Play.
Tested on my both android phones.
Other (Mac/iOS/Windows) APPs are OK.

I was about to write the same post! Works on Fire Tv etc just not on my Huawei media pad tablet running 8.0 EMUI. I can download a file, which works but still can’t play that file??

Any help appreciated

For now I had to play videos by Plex Web on my android phones.
No one else have this problem with Android APP except Deedadog and me?

The same problem. But only with movies that have multiversion.
If I press play, infinite circle, but if I choose “play version”, then it works.

Tried to switch back Android APP version - 9.25, 9.21, 9.20… No good

Kind of a problem about server-Android_APP interface?

With PMS v1.32.4, Android APP is OK. Should be a problem with PMS 1.32.5.
But I prefer AMD GPU hardware transcoding, so I stay with 1.32.5.

Come on guys, figure out this problem.

FYI. It’s OK by enabling Use External Player e.g. VLC with PMS 1.32.5

Updated Android App to 9.28.0.3162, still not working.

Last server update broke android casting to desktop (which is plugged into my sound system, so I can control the music on my phone). The desktop version can cast to the phone, but that’s useless.

This was fixed in v9.28 of the Android client.

No, not really, cannot play with 9.28.
Tested on my both Android phones.

And, FYI, PMS has already started transcoding and transferring to the Android client, but Android app is always at loading state, just cannot start to play.

Can you send me the logs from v9.28 after replicating the issue? Will take a look.
