I’m having a weird issue with playback. With two different Pixel 7 phones on home Wi-Fi, when I try to playback certain television episodes, I get an error that says “an error occurred while attempting to play this video check your connection”.
If I try to load the episodes on mobile data, it loads completely fine. I can even then turn on the Wi-Fi and the episode will keep playing with no problems. If the episode has been started and I get out of the app, but I come back into the app and restart play, the episode continues to play with no issues.
I have an Amazon Fire and LG G8 that both will load the same files with no problems on the home Wi-Fi. Also, I’ve attempted to play these files on two different Roku models in the house as well as an Android TV (Hisense). I am completely at a loss. My assumption is that it’s something with the Pixel, but I don’t know what (if anything) to do about it. It’s just the strangest thing.
Any help would be appreciated.
