I might be misunderstanding, but why not just create a smart All Songs playlist and shuffle that?
Like others here, I have playlists sync’d to my phone which I would like to listen to in my car using Plex’s shuffle feature. E.g. select playlist “A” to play songs from in a shuffled order via Android Auto. I can’t see how to do this.
Shuffling a single downloaded playlist should be possible using the downloads top-level item, then going into the playlist.
On CarPlay at least (should be on Android Auto as well) we also have a top level shuffle action for all downloads.
Apologies, @elan I didn’t realise this thread was discussing the PlexAmp app. Having installed this and tried it with Andriod Auto, shuffle does indeed work.
In my original message I was referring to the standard Plex app. However, I am finding the PlexAmp app experience for audio much better!
