Here are server and client logs for chapters not loading consistently in this plex android client on the shield. I have posted a few times about it in this thread, post 47 has my findings in detail. I can post more scenarios if you want and provide logs.
The latest around 10:38 pm mountain time in the logs is just me playing a movie (blade runner 2049 4k bluray mkv lossless rip), chapter thumbs load fine in my browser and on all my ios devices. It is not loading properly on the shield. Only a few files are loading chapters thumbnails properly in this client when using pms on the shield and connecting to win 10 storage over smb. If i run pms on the same win 10 machine holding my storage, the plex client seems to load chapters far more consistently however. But again, no other client (ios or web browser) has any issues loading chapters properly while running pms on the shield, just this client has issues in this scenario.
Only thing i noticed in the log was this line.
