Android Devices won't connect with Server

Server Version#: 1.21.0.3616 -windows 10
Player Version#: 8.9.2.21619

Started my Fire Stick Plex client this morning and could not connect to windows media server.
tried the usual trick of restarting the fire stick and logging out. similar results on my mobile phone.

PMS is marked as offline
Have made no changes on server or devices (unless the PMS updated)

Tried a hard wired client (Samsung BDf600 player) and no issues all worked okay.

update = have installed same version on a fire hd tablet and it connects to the server - I’m stumped

update 2 phone worked briefly then stopped - firestick still not connecting - tablet ok

Anyone any ideas what gone wrong?

This now seems to have resolved itself…so I must conclude it was an issue with my Plex account. or the PMS interacting with Plex
very frustrating
