There is no longer an option to shuffle or random play an entire library. I would often just hit shuffle on my entire movie or TV library and it would then randomly play anything from that library. Now you cannot do that, please return this very basic feature so I don’t have to create a collection of just everything in my library and then keep that updated…this is such an odd feature to remove.

You can create a smart playlist or collection that’ll only include items you haven’t watched in a certain period (or omitting items you rated super low). Shuffling that’ll reduce the risk of running in the same media over-and-over. With a smart playlist/collection, there’s also no need to actively maintain the playlist if new items are added.
I might have to try that, it’s a huge pain in the ass though. I tried making a collection of everything in the library, but it’s 1500+ items and just crashes the app trying to load it.
Just idiotic to remove that simple feature.
I used.thr shuffle movies feature as well and would like this back. I made a smart collection but this is unusable as it repeatedly crashes the app
This has been added with 2025.16.0 which was publicly released last week.
