Android Plex app Playback issues of downloaded content

I have a Samsung Galaxy S22Ultra (SM-S908B/DS UK variant). I can download music fine but I have problems playing it when I’m away from home.

  1. playback frequently stops
  2. sometimes it resumes if I open the phones cover (I have a Samsung flip cover.

I’ve made sure the app is not subject to battery optimization in Android 12, so the app will never sleep. Not sure what else I can try.
The app behaves like it is trying to play the server version even though I’ve downloaded to my device.

Yes i’m having the same issue right now as i write from 35000 feet!
I am trying to play an audio playlist which has been downloaded to my Galaxy Tab S8+;

Pressing the Play button works, 1st track plays, but goes no further.
Press shuffle button and you get “Unable to play media error”
You can click on each track in your list, and it will play, however it doesnt move to the next track.

Slightly annoying on an 8 hour flight and all you want to do is shuffle a playlist and relax!
