After a song is downloaded to your phone it will not play. It gives you an error that says “an error occurred while playing this item”. Once you remove the song from your phone then it plays. I reported this same issue back in July of 2020, this should have been fixed by now. I have a lifetime membership to plex I would think that the people that have a plex pass would get a higher priority of getting things fixed.
What is the point of paying for plex when you do not get any decent support from the employees, and every time they update the app they always break something else within the app.
i am also habving this issue. a work arround is to use plex amp but it is limited to 24hr for the playlist downloads and my playlist is 72 hours and i want it all.
When you play a song in android auto at the last song of the album when its done playing you get a message saying Plex doesn’t seem to be working right now. This same message also happens if you change songs to fast using your stirring wheel controls. Also, if you leave your phone plugged into your stereo, and then turn off your car, then come back the app starts all over asking if you want to listen to a playlist or recently added, and not pickup where it left off playing a song.
