Android streaming and server access via wifi not working after server migration

Server Version#: 4.145.1
Player Version#: 10.26.0.2578
Android Google Version#: 16.6.28.sa.arm64

I’ve run into a very odd issue and am kinda lost.

I recently upgraded my server from an old 4th gen i7 to a W-2235 Xeon. I have swapped between Windows 10 and now Windows 11 (unfortunately). And media storage is mounted to my Synology NAS with has/had a LAG to my switch. Nothing has changed otherwise in my house.

The existing settings were copied over from old to new. I did not build the new one from scratch as I needed the history and metadata for all users.

I have tested all players in my house and the only ones that are showing a problem are my Android phones via wifi with regards to streaming. I get the error “Unable to stream, please check your internet connection” (I’m paraphrasing). Even weirder is that Android devices on wifi outside of the house don’t even see the server. It seems to be specifically a wifi problem which makes no sense to me.

I am currently testing with a Pixel 9 Pro XL. I had it on wifi at my office, the server wasn’t even able to be accessed. I turned off wifi and used cellular, everything works fine. Via cellular, the server is accessible and straming the same movies I have been testing with, work. The problem doesn’t appear to be isolated to my home, it appears to be a wifi/Plex problem which is just odd.

My Rokus (wired) at home all work fine. My FireTVs (wifi) all work fine. I have not yet tested a conventional/legacy (no remote) Chromecast yet tho. I also have Pixels 4 through 8 that I have not yet tested either.

After testing in my office, I’m truly stumped. If I can provide more info/clarification/detail, please let me know. Any thoughts/advice/help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I wanted to back into this to see if anyone has thoughts. It’s a really messed up issue and has me really curious.
