I will try and explain this. I have several older tablets running Android 8. I can use the plex app in the browser and everything works great. Using the latest plex app from google store. None of the android tablets will connect to my remote server. They seem to get my “watched or continue watching content” but I know they aren’t connecting to my remote server. The poster art for my remote server doesn’t come up. The search doesn’t hit that server and if I try to play an item on my servers it kicks up A quick ooops error It happens to quick to be even pinging the server.
It will let me watch movie from the plex provided server but nothing from my own remote server.
Using the same network I can access with other devices. Just not the android tablet. Even the android tablet can connect using the web app but not the. APK. I’m open to suggestions.
