Android TV, can you have multiple accounts signed in?

Server Version#: 1.24.0.4930
Player Version#: Up to date Android TV (unable to check version number for a few days)

Is it possible to have more than one account signed in? I know I can have multiple managed users under one account, but can a separate account with its own password be signed in or easily swapped between?

If it’s not possible, is there a way of signing out of a pin protected account without having the pin? My friend can’t find the option. I can only find support articles for signing out through the settings menu.

No, you can only connect a plex client to one plex.tv account at a time.
Subsequently, “fast user switching” is possible among the members of a Plex Home.
A Plex Home can also add “full” plex.tv accounts, if the server owner has a Plex Pass.

I was under the impression that with a plex pass, you could add multiple accounts. Now that I bought one, I’ve found out that is not true.

It seems to be a well requested feature. What is stopping plex from implementing it?

There seems to be a misunderstanding.
What you want is called https://support.plex.tv/articles/204232453-fast-user-switching/ in Plex.
And it only works if all users are members of the same Plex Home.

Without a Plex Pass, you can create so-called “managed users” (which are all using your own plex.tv credentials to sign in.) Managed users are all members of your own Plex Home.

Now that you have a Plex Pass, you can additionally invite regular plex.tv accounts (which have their own user names and passwords) into your Plex Home.
HOWEVER: these plex.tv accounts must not have an own Plex server and/or managed users of their own. Because as soon as they join your home, they will lose their own managed users.

The number of users in a Plex Home is restricted to 15 in total.
