Plex server runnin on TrueNas scale 25.04.2.3
My android TV are reporting the server unavailable
the issue started randomly (the TV were working fine), the most recent change was the server Upgrade (but the tv were able to stream after the upgrade for some days), but rolling back to the previous version doesn’t seems to help.
I’ve restarted all network devices I have, restarted the app within Truenas and restarted the entire NAS, nothing seems to help.
Looking at the logs the only error that seems relevant is
Sep 07, 2025 15:30:21.724 [140563928030008] ERROR - [MediaProviderManager/Response::parseJson/MediaProviderResponse] failed to parse JSON response: ‘invalid literal’ at 1:1
which is repeated multiple times.
I’m attaching the log collection.
for reference TV and Nas are on separate subnet, no fw in between just a router allowing all traffic.
From any PC in the same subnet of the TV the connection works fine, also from Android phone on the same subnet there is no connection problem.
I also tried to connect the TV to the same subnet of the NAS, but the problem persisted
