Android TV won't Direct Stream 4K HDR when audio is transcoding

On my Chromecast with Google TV 4K, 4K HDR won’t Direct Stream when audio is transcoding. If audio doesn’t require transcoding, then 4K HDR file Direct Plays.

For example, my movie has 2 audio files, AC3 5.1 and TrueHD 7.1. If I choose the AC3 5.1 file, the movie Direct Plays. If TrueHD 7.1 is chosen, both audio and video are transcoded. It makes sense that TrueHD 7.1 is transcoded since my player doesn’t support it, but why is the video stream also transcoded? Shouldn’t the video Direct Stream and only the audio is transcoded?

The same movie is able to Direct Stream on my Android Mobile devices when the audio is transcoding so this only seems to affect Android TV.
