Is there a good anime scanner for plex?
what specifically are you looking for?
I suppose your Animes do go as regular movies or tv shows w/ seasons and episodes?
Some Ants-in-me may be difficult to locate - until you realize a lot of it is over at TVDB as a later season of something that came before it - with a Similar Name. Some searching usually bears edible fruit rather quickly, but the name you have to use may not be the name you think it is.
Just remember TVDB is always right - even if they’re wrong.
I think there used to be an Ants-in-me Agent, don’t know if there still is or not, or care much, but there’s basically ONE source for TV Shows and that’s TVDB. Best get used to it early in your career.
I love the opportunity to throw this in - so do please keep asking those Ants-in-me questions…:

For some series tvbd uses season 2 episode 1 while the releases are comming out as season 1 episode 22 for example
Yea, TVDB loves to do things their way.
I guess they think it’s less cluttered, or something.
The bottom line is - if you want matches do it like TVDB does it.
There aren’t many other good options.
Sometimes it’s worth checking if the TVDB has a DVD order which matches your structure. This e.g. saved me w/ Futurama. If so, you can tell Plex to use that order instead of the air date based sequence.
how do i use the dvd order?
assuming you want to apply the DVD order to a single show…
after it’s matched, click Edit and look for Episode sequence(?) in the Advanced tab (loosely translated… should be the very last setting).
Default setting is “by air-date” but you can also pick from “DVD order” and “Absolute Numbering” (no idea what that one is used for…).
After saving the show’s settings, Plex should refresh its metadata – if it doesn’t, manually refresh it.
and be aware that some shows won’t work for DVD order no matter what you do.
