Any way to use TVDB matching for TV shows

Server Version#: 1.42.2.10156

Sorry if this might be dump but is there a way to use TVDB for TV-shows?
I have a dedicated anime library set to TV shows and it uses “Plex TV Series” as scanner.
However many anime season 2 are not recognized as Plex seems to use TMDB instead of TVDB for scanning.

TMDB often has only 1 season with all episodes, while TVDB has the correct seasons. I handle eerything via Radarr and Radarr does the default naming.

One example is Dan Da Dan

Others are Kaiju Nr 8 (TVDB, TMDB) it works correctly as soon as I move the files manually from
Kaiju No. 8/Season 02/Kaiju.No.8.S02E01
To
Kaiju No. 8/Season 01/Kaiju.No.8.S01E13

However, that obviously breaks Radarr + I would like to have everything correct. Is there any way around it?

Thank you very much.

Naming & Organizing Your TV Show Files

There are two parts to this, matching and episode ordering.

Matching: You can add the IMDB/TMDB/TVDB ID to the tv show folder name. This tells Plex which show to match. It does not tell Plex how to order the episodes.

Episode Ordering: You can choose between TMDB Aired (default) and TVDB aired/dvd/absolute/etc orderings.

You can make the change at the Library level or at the individual show level.

Library Level: Edit the Library → Advanced → Episode Ordering

Individual Show: Edit the Show (pencil icon) → Advanced → Episode Ordering. Pick the desired episode order.

Edit that library
Go to the Advanced tab
Set episode ordering to “TheTVDB (aired)”

You can later override this library default on any individual tv show, if necessary.

Thank you very much, I really searched for that and only ended up in several other forums via google searching for the very same question.
Changing it to TheTVDB (aired) did the trick. I really appreciate your help
