I have a specific music album folder in which Plex is unable to see the contents. It is right along with all the other music, including the same artist in the same tree structure, and it can read all the other stuff.
I believe this is NOT the usual permissions issue that I have seen in other posts (although I did check this). I tried looking at them with a tagger program called Easytag, and it ALSO cannot see the files. I checked with a different program called kid3-qt (linux programs often suffer from bad-name-syndrome) and it read them just fine. I noticed there were some tags on the files in question from musicbrainz that were not in the working files, so I deleted those, but it did not help.
My local music players also play the files just fine. They are ogg format.
So, I realize that this is perhaps a misplaced topic, as I do not believe that it has anything to do specifically with Plex. But I am hoping someone here might have some ideas for me to try. I am brand new to plex, having just discovered it last night.
