Newly Added Music folder is not showing the content

I have routinely added various music and movie folders to Plex. I’ve not had any problems. But when adding a new music folder from my NAS to Plex, Plex is not seeing the music. The file naming structure is the same as the other folders (using Plex recommended structure). I’ve scanned the folder after adding. I’ve refreshed the NAS for the folder. The music plays fine on the NAS or in other players.
Any idea what is wrong? Again, I have added several music folders using the same steps and settings. I’ve become very familiar with the process so I’m quite certain I’m not doing anything wrong.

Sounds like a permission issue.
Make sure the system user of the Plex Media Server on your Syno has access to the new library folder.

Thank you so much for your kindly reply. That did the trick! I forgot to check read/write permissions in Syno. It is now showing up. So it was human error (me) after all, haha!
