Any Idea At All Why Plex iOS Won't Show Photos?

I’m trying desperately to make Plex work as a Photos solution… Any idea why Plex won’t show me the photos on my iPhone? I gave it access and it lets me select the photo from the thumbnail but always shows this screen never bringing up the photo.

Here is the photo of my screen…

Is there any way to get support for a Plex Pass customer from Plex? I still cannot get All Photos to load on iOS. Is this kinda-dead forum the only support there is?!

This happened to me a while (months) ago. My particular issue was that I had moved the photos out of the source folder I had specified for the library in Plex. Since I had not performed the The Plex Dance™, the thumbnails still existed on the server and were displayed exactly like your screenshot.

Basically, are the photos still located in the folder Plex thinks they are? If not, move them back. (Otherwise they would have to be reimported from scratch, which can take a long time and may be resource-intensive.) If they are, I’m not sure what’s wrong, sorry. Also, most support here is freely given from other people who have experienced the same problem/are really smart and know how to fix it. Having a Plex Pass really doesn’t entitle us to anything extra from Plex employees, since it’s a relatively small company and they have to focus on their own work.

Thanks for the help. My photos are all in the original folder I imported from. I keep all my Media in one folder with separate folders for each library.

Got it about support and Plex Pass. I’m happy to have the extra features.

You’re welcome! I’m sorry I don’t have more to offer… I was really hoping that would be an effective fix.

It’s a shame, but maybe you’ll get lucky and a ninja (moderator) will see this and help out. :crossed_fingers::four_leaf_clover:
