Anyone else having metadata not loading issues?

I have similar issue. Does that translate also in missing options ?

For instance I don’t have:

  • fix match
  • unmatch
  • refresh metadata

In the edit I am missing the options:

  • Tags
  • Sharing
  • Banner
  • Advanced

I am totally stuck and cant seem to find a workaround for now.

Probably not? What PMS version do you have installed? On what OS?

I’m assuming the missing functions are when you’re using the web browser?

I can’t get any TV show to load its metadata. If I try to tag it manually with thetvdb it returns “Sorry, no results” error message in red-ish 100%

I am using the webbrowser, either local IP or not.
It is missing only for new tv shows added. Older ones have all the options.

Plex Media Server 1.18.2.2029-36236cc4c installed on windows 10

Try all that stuff at the Show Level - Not Episode/Season level.

Stuff not getting a match - cause TVDB is broke - might not display everything a matched item will.

Yep! I’ve noticed. I didn’t know they already tried to launch v3 back in summer and I hope this will work out now :slight_smile:

I did do it at Show level.
I also changed the scrapper to Movie Database and did a new analysis of the library, but it did not fix the issue.

That sounds more serious than missing TVDB data.

Alright, I will try to get support. As Plex Pass I used to have access to support in the past it seems that’s gone now.

It’s the same over here. I disabled TheTVDB where applicable, still it doesn’t load all the images from the movie db. For instance, I readded GOT today and already turned on the movie db as a scraper and turned off theTVDB for TV shows, but it’s only loading 1 poster per season (and there’re quite a bunch of posters on the movie db)

While movies all worked perfectly fine today

Just added new shows over the weekend. Only some metadata showing up. The cast of the show but no pictures for show, season, episodes or posters.

Same exact thing is happening to me. Shows cast but that is about it.

I have had success with a manual match from the Kebab Menu on a New Title poster or generic blank poster. Example: ⋮
All the existing titles in a series seem to gather metadata.

+1 over here, exact same behaviour.

The v3 API mentioned above makes sense… Although APIs should be backward compatible :sweat_smile:

There is a banner, visible when first entering the forum, also announcing this issue.
