That won’t happen unless you’re an employee. I’ve already asked that question and been told “No, that’s internal only”. There are limits of what even a NDA covers. This is VERY close-hold to their chests. It IS a key component of the company so it does make sense.
I’m still waiting for my invite, but I’m curious if anybody currently in the beta (or maybe the devs) will be able to answer this: where are the Plex Cloud VPS’s hosted? Are there multiple servers around the world? My family and I travel to asia a lot (mostly China and Thailand) and we typically all connect to my Plex server (in the midwest). That pacific hop definitely hurts end-to-end speeds, even though my upload here at home is pretty good (about 30mbps). If I connect when I’m in asia will it spin up at a closer data center? What about if I’m watching stateside and my sister is trying to watch from China, will we hit the same VPS, or different instances?
Finally, does there seem to be a limit on streams? How many transcoded streams can a Plex Cloud server handle simultaneously?
I know I might have to just wait until I’m in to test it myself, but I’m super curious.

Your questions are all valid. I don’t know any of us (except for the employees) who can answer those questions. As for the details you’re asking, as I stated in my previous reply, I doubt those will be answered by an employee unless the person asking is an employee.
It’s best to wait, for as tough as it might be. I personally have things I have promised to test but can’t yet. Lots of work to do. They will tell us when all is good and to ‘have at it’.
Really excited about the prospect of Plex Cloud, long time Plex Pass subscriber (more to be supportive than for need of the features). If there’s a grovel list of beta invites, plz add me
For those struggling to upload…syncovery is the best thing i have used. Costs a bit of money but is updated constantly…and works for basically everything. You can setup a mirror sync so anytime you add anything to local storage once your main sync is done gets quickly moved to the cloud. I’m maxing out my 85 mbps up connection at about 10-11 MB/s all the time.
I didn’t (until just now) realize it was an invite only beta. I was focusing on getting my amazon drive setup and getting media uploaded. Finally finished today and went to set things up on the plex side and BAM … sign up and wait for a trial. I’m a bit disapointed since I thought part of having plex pass was getting access to early features…

Yeah. But apparently this one is “early early access” .
Also waiting for the invite to come through, have a few films ready on Amazon Cloud… However, while using the Amazon Drive desktop app, ALOT of the time files are at 100% and then don’t move on to the next, quite the annoyance when left over night… Anyone else experience this?
I am waiting not so patiently, checking constantly. I have a bit already on amazon but I don’t want to pay past the trial until I can confirm exactly what bitrate I can stream with on my crap comcast network.

The website says “Get to use the newest and coolest features before everyone else! Users can also submit feature requests and gain access to special Plex Pass members-only forums” and then “Early Access: Be the first to get exclusive access to new features and enjoy awesome premium ones.” How Plex Cloud doesn’t fall under any of those I don’t understand.

Tell me about it. I jumped on it like a madman, and for what? Big, fat nothing . . .

I can’t speak for Plex, obviously. However in my personal opinion their hands are tied more than in the past because this is a project in conjunction with another service - Amazon. I believe they are working closely together in making this work and that is why they couldn’t let the masses loose in there all at once. Even now the service goes down more often than not, although it’s improving by the day.
Of course this is just a thought from the peanut gallery - the real reason might be because the Plex employees are pure evil and love to torture poor innocent paying members, take your pick 8-}
Plex Cloud is not ready for normal use, not even for Plex pass members. The beta was opened so at least some could get a taste. The other option was not releasing it and keep it secret even longer. We thought this would be better.
