I went out and got a NUC8 for Plex. I’d suggest purchasing something other than an 11. There hasn’t been much in the way of updates shared here by Plex and no ETA provided. Pretty disappointing TBH

What happen when you guys enable tone mapping ? same stuff as before on screen or completely gone ?

When tone mapping is enabled, for me at least, the transcoder reverts back to software

I enabled tone mapping now, but didn’t notice any changes in performance or load on the cpu. There are no errors in the plex console, no glitches or such have been noticed as well. but I believe that I don’t have any media that uses HDR or benefits from tone mapping.

Anyone have been able to HW transcode on an Intel NUC 11 (Iris Xe)?
