API of some sort to change plex remote access port

I’m looking for a way to change the remote access port through a script or something.
I have a VPN but the Port it uses will change once awhile. So I’m trying to set up a script to change the remote access port based off of what the VPN is using.
Is there a config file or something that is like remoteaccessport=xxxx I can just set up a script to change?

Plex’s internal port is fixed at 32400.
This is necessary so all clients on the LAN can find it.

You can change the port with a script if you are good editing “Preferences.xml” when PMS isn’t running then starting PMS.
