I believe an admin reset my cert, but after 4 hours and a few times of stopping and restarting the server, I’m still getting the same error.
It works fine if I’m connected to the same network, but when I’m not on the same network, it’s not able to connect. On the Remote Access tab, I get the message “Fully accessible outside your network”, but it’s not working. It used to work fine until recently.
I tried testing with both desktop using the url below and also the mobile Plex app on my phone.
I have not. Usually, I just stop it and open up the server again. I’ll try this now and report back. Thanks! And yes, I do have Remote Watch Pass and I’ve been able to watch remotely many times in the past.
No, there is no cert to reset at all on the plex.tv side.
Did you insert anything into the Custom Certificate configuration fields, under
Settings - [server name] - ‘Show Advanced’ - Network
?
Hey @OttoKerner , nothing under all 3 Custom Certificate fields under Network > Advanced. I’m not sure what else it could be. From Settings > Remote Access, I get “Fully accessible outside your network”. I tried resetting my router a few times and also made sure UPnP is enabled.
Because only the last link contained https – i.e. an encrypted connection.
Due to web browser policy, all data which are loaded dynamically have to come from encrypted connections as well. With no certificate available for the server, that is not possible.
I have forwarded your case to the developers to find out what happened.
