If you watch a show and use sleep timer to stop after the item ends, the app goes to the episode info page and the phone will remain there and never go to standby. The screen remains on for hours.

It was plugged into the charger when this happened.
I think this is contributing to the battery drain issues. I have had a couple of friends tell me that they watched something and set their phone down or put it in their pocket and it was way down on battery life when they looked late. I think it just never went to standby. I’ll admit that is anecdotal, but now that I can reproduce this issue it seems more plausible. Something in the new app is keeping the phone out of standby.
