Apple Remote with High Sierra not working

Nope, Logitech harmony remote does not work well even after installing candlair driver.

I tried candelair and now my remote doesn’t work at all and there is no remote options in system preferences –> security –> advanced. When going into system preferences –> candelair it just has an option to restart. After restarting it still says restart.

@ccwillia did you ever find a solution to this? I’m in exactly the same boat.
