Apple TV 4K 6th Gen - Very Dark on all 4K HDR conversions

Just hooked up two Apple TV 4ks to 1080P SDR TVs. The Apple TV is not set to match content or anything like that. It’s set to 1080P SDR.

All of my older content, 1080P SDR, plays fine. Anything newer, like 4K HDR, plays back but is very dark, not watchable. This was not a problem on the Apple TV 5th gen. I have two different TVs, both 1080P SDR, and two different brand new Apple TV 4K 6th Gen 64GB, one hooked to each TV. Both have the exact same issues.

This only happens in Plex, at least what I have found so far. It’s almost as if Plex just isn’t handling the content correctly for these players. The same content plays fine for example, if I play in Media Player on my Macbook from the same server. I can also switch back to Apple TV 5th gen and it’s fine. It’s only affecting 6th gen Apple TVs, and apparently only when content needs to be downgraded.
