I am using a SYNOLOGY DS918+ as a PLEX Server. When restarting a Film from Apple TV 4K the App is crashing directly. When I restarting a Film from my iMac, everything is working well. Same on iPad and iPhone. Problems are only in combination with Apple TV 4K.
Starting a Film from the beginning normally works. Only when continuing the Film makes this problem.
I have dropped and reinstall the app on the apple Tv 4k. Same result. Than I start logging (see attachment). logging.zip (176.0 KB)
It seems that with the “new player” the problem doesn’t exist. Changed to “new player” - several tests and no problem till now.
We need to see the PMS logs to know what it’s sending to the ATV 4K.
This is why trumpy asked for them.
