Apple TV Crashes

Have a Apple TV 4K that crashes after about 15 minutes playing a movie with Plex. Shuts sown my complete hoe theatre system including Sony Tv and Yamaha AV. Has anyone else experienced this? Did a complete factory reset on the Apple TV and still same issue

Any suggestions or comments appreciated

Sorry… not aware of any such crashes or what might be causing them.
What version of tvOS and the Plex for Apple TV app do you have installed on that Apple TV 4K? Is it a 1st or 2nd gen Apple TV 4K?

Hi Tom, thanks for replying. Its Apple 4K. Plex version is 8.0 downloaded from the AppStore and the Apple TV version tvOS 15.4.

I’m having the same setup and no such issues – anything special about the files you’re trying to stream?

No nothing special about files being used. That being said I’m also using a Nvidia shield with Plex on it and some movies will not play on that. I get an error “unable to play media”. For the most part most the movies play. I just uninstalled Plex on Apple TV and reinstalled it again (same version) that may help
