Apple TV app won't let me play TV shows

I’m not sure what’s happened but my apple tv app won’t play TV shows. If I click on a show from the “Home” screen in the app, it kicks me out to the atv main screen. If I navigate to TV and try to go into a show, it will briefly open the show and start the music, but then will kick me out again.
I can watch movies on atv just fine. I can watch TV from a PC fine.

I’ve tried uninstalling, then reinstalling the app. No difference.
