I have an Apple TV 4k and in my movie library, I might want to see a movie that starts with the letter R. So I open that library and start scrolling to the R’s. Or I might go to the letters and go to R and then move to the left to select a film and suddenly the posters all roll back up to the top starting position by itself.
I then have to wait a minute until it settles down before it will actually behave properly.
This has only recently started doing this in the last month or so.
Any idea what may be causing it and how to make it stop?
Same problem here. Problem is unfortunately very consistent and frustrating.
I hate to say I’m glad I’m not the only one. LOL
Same. I can’t reproduce it at will, but it’s super annoying when it happens.
I have seen this behavior for the past few releases. This is particularly annoying when you’re trying to find a movie to watch, and every time you back out from the movie details/info page it scrolls back to the top of the main movie menu. With close to 1k movies in the library, this is VERY inconvenient.
Try it with 3,400 movies. It also happens in music. If you have an artist with hundreds of albums (like say Bach) and you have to scroll to the right for five minutes to get to an album, then it zips back and forth multiple times for no reason.
I really wish music albums were just a big grid like movies instead of a long line.
Same here. Super annoying
Happens on both my Apple TV HD and 4K, version 7.10.
A new beta just dropped. In description:
Changes since last beta:
- Fixed an issue with focus jumping while scrolling the browse view.
Fingers crossed!
Wooo hooo!!! crossing toes too.
The latest beta seems to have fixed this. Thanks, guys!
What is the version of that beta? i don’t see it anywhere.
Not fixed, when I go in a view a trailer via the movie page, back out after watching the trailer to main listing, scrolls back to first line of the main movie listing.
