Scrolling thru movies, jumps to top

When scrolling thru my library if I click on a movie and play a trailer after reverting it goes all the way to the top of my list again. Just reading the summary of the movie brings me back to the position I was at when choosing the movie.
Pretty annoying when scrolling thru a library of close to a 1.000 movies.

I’ve experienced exactly this (watching a trailer, then going back to the list)… but on top of that… simply tapping “down” a list using the Apple TV client, after some number of rows, it simply takes over and goes to the top of the list… this is especially annoying if you use the A-Z on the right, and are nearer the bottom of the list… because it’s forcing focus back to the top can take a very long time… easily 30-60 seconds.

this is one of the worst UI bugs in a very long time.

I found that this happens if I scroll too fast down my movies as well. It seems to be a problem when it tries to load content too fast??

Any updates? Mine does the same thing. SUPER annoying when you’re scrolling through thousands of movies. I’ve resorted to watching previews on my phone rather than the (pretty awesome) built in capability.

Just want to add “me too”…also happens in other lists as well…

Same here. Extremely annoying.

I currently have 1435 movies in my library, and the reset to the top happens whenever returning from previewing a movie, or sometimes just from reading the summary. Also happens when scrolling down too fast.

Keeping this thread alive in the hopes of a fix. 4.5K movies with the same problem. VERY annoying.

I am having the same issue on my Oneplus 8 Pro when scrolling through seasons of my TV Shows, its pretty annoying and I hope there is a fix.

I’m having this issue as well. I keep updating to new versions and the problem still persists.

Same here, cant scroll with my remote keyboard and mouse on my shield without it bouncing back to the movie I am hovering. Extremely annoying
