Arabic subtitles displaying incorrectly on iOS 15/ Apple TV

Hi,
I recently updated my new apple tv device to iOS 15
and noticed the arabic subtitle starts to show some symbols that isn’t in subtitle file at all

this issue wasn’t there when. I was running iOS 14

will show you the two samples so you can understand better

as you can see the subtitle looks perfect and the font type is amazing

the font is a bit different and don’t know why its showing these symbols

Please Please fix this issue so we can enjoy our plex more like before

are these embedded or separate subtitles and it is possible to get a copy of them?

Hi ,
Yes its embedded in the MKV files but I also test it with SRT external files and it shows the same problem … so that what made me post this issue ,. as it turns out the iOS 15 causing the issue.

also if you want I can cut that particular scene only like 15 seconds so that you can test it out

need to mention this
my fix to this problem I use third parties app

like ( Beamer) which streams to my Apple TV with nice subtitle no issue
download it and try it:
Beamer App

using VLC app
with we all know it works perfect with all kind of files and subtitles
VLC App

but its headache coz I have to drag each file and can’t have the premium PLEX where it shows which movie or episode watched and mark it.
