For the last few weeks i have been having issues with playing any new content i add to my Plex server. i can play any content that is 35-40days or older.
I have attempted to roll back the Plex server
Disabled and enabled Secure connections on the server and the Chromcast app.
Disabled and enabled my Nord VPN on the server and router
Set the DNS to google and Auto.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the server.
I have attached the server Logs looking for some assistance
What and when did you try playing something? I don’t see anything in your logs.
I’ll also need the log from the client where you are casting from. The version number you listed above would indicate Android so I also need android logs after trying to cast the video.
I hope this helps. I’m not trying to cast to the Andriod player but trying to stream from within the Plex App on the Android TV
I tried to play Island of Bryan S03E09 as of 1700hrs MST(Alberta Time)
Prior to that i was able to play Stargate SG1 S03E18 and had no issues
Even today i uninstalled the Apps and then deleted and rebuilt the library and i still cannot play any of the newer content
Looks like the issue is the audio. Island of Bryan has 5.1 AAC and trying to use passthrough. It doesn’t look like your TV supports 5.1 AAC but the Google device does. So Plex sends the 5.1 AAC to the Google device, then it decides if it should downmix from 5.1 to stereo or to decode to 5.1 PCM and then pass it to the TV, but this is failing.
First step would be to turn off pass through and see if that helps. If not, then check your audio settings for the Google device to see if there is anything there you can change.
