I recently had my Plex on my Android updated to the new preview version. After that watching a number of my movies and TV shows everything appeared stretched vertically and it didn’t look good. I tried all the various layout options in playback mode and none of them looked right. I followed the instructions to roll back to a legacy version of the app and everything played and appeared just fine. There’s clearly an issue in the new preview of that needs to be addressed.

Some folks reported success with the fix provided in this version. Or, it will likely be part of the next public version update, if you don’t want to side load it.
